Mind-Body Skills Group

I am certified through the Center for Mind Body Medicine (CMBM) in Mind Body Medicine and have been leading Mind Body Skills Groups since 2008.

Mind Body Medicine Skills Groups allow you to explore the connection between your mind and body, learn new skills to help you cope with stress and learn more about yourself.

Mind Body Skills Groups utilize scientifically based strategies to repattern and reprogram your neural pathways. Most people report feeling less anxious and better able to cope with life. Learning and sharing our experiences with a supportive group help us to feel less alienated and separate from others.

Mind Body Groups teach a variety of coping mechanisms so you have many tools at your disposal. Each week you will be introduced to a new skill or topic such as-bio-feedback, autogenic training, guided imagery and various forms of meditation. This group emphasizes the science between the mind and body and why these techniques work, so you better understand what is going on inside of you.

These groups are a closed group of six to 10 people. They meet once per week for two hours and last generally for eight weeks.
